How to register into the program

You are requested to register into the program, either as a Grain Producer or former ADF person, by sending an email to;


 admin@opgha.org.au


or by completing the online registration, as applicable, at the bottom of the website homepage.


How to engage with the farmer or former adf person

  

Grain Producers and former ADF people  both enter their details on the Facebook Groups below.  Both then work to achieve their objectives by 'matching up', communicating with one another and agreeing job details.

How to support this program

To support this program we ask that you share the program through your ADF networks, we support and welcome engagement from Defence Corps Associations and affiliate organisations. 

How to best prepare for Grain Industry work

To be prepared for work in the grains industry we suggest that you do your research of the work involved with the farmer or grain businesses  of choice. Each farm and operation is different, however on farm inductions and training should be provided. Essential personal equipment includes, wide-brimmed hat, safety sunglasses, sunscreen, large water bottle and steel-capped safety boots. 


 We suggest you go through the website which has much useful information to help prepare you for the role.
